Avon Lake Ohio Restaurants
On Monday, April 13, Avon Lake City Council approved a $2.5 million renovation of the former Izo's restaurant on the corner of Main and Main Streets. On November 5, 2019, Gary Izzo was approved for a new restaurant on the site of his former Izu's restaurant on Main Street.
He grew up in Avon Lake, Ohio, attended the University of Akron and graduated in 1987. He then moved to Cleveland to open his first restaurant, Izu's, on the corner of Main Street and Main Street. In 1999 he opened his own restaurant on Main Street and in 2002 his second restaurant on the former Izo's restaurant grounds.
In 2003, Symon opened Bar Symons on the former Izo restaurant site at the corner of Main Street and Main Avenue.
The city of Avon Lake is pleased to announce a new spa store on the corner of Main Street and Main Avenue in the downtown square. In the last twelve months, some shops have opened in the square, but this is the first of its kind to take place in a public square on Lake Avons in more than twenty years.
On Saturday, April 22, at 10 a.m., a ribbon cutting ceremony will be held in the main street and the main street, and on Sunday, May 1, from 12 noon to 5.30 p.m., there will be an open house.
